The wedding ceremony of Salman Khan's little sister Arpita Khan and businessman Aayush Sharma, which was held at Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad on 18 November, saw the presence of many Bollywood biggies.

Several guests including Salman's ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif attended the ceremony and congratulated the happy couple. Even Salman's rival turned friend Shah Rukh Khan, who couldn't attend the wedding, made it to Arpita's sangeet ceremony evidently pleasing a lot of fans.

However, fans and friends of Salman were stunned when actress Priyanka Chopra dropped in at the wedding venue to be a part of the big celebration.

While all the other guests were either Salman's friends or were close to the family, Priyanka who is not too close to the superstar was not expected to show up.

"She has hardly been a favourite of Salman. I believe she stalled the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani for two days to be in Hyderabad for the wedding. Bhansali has an expensive set waiting, but she chose to fly out for a wedding where her presence was hardly expected." a source close to Salman told Deccan Chronicle.

Interestingly, Bhansali, with whom Salman once shared a good bond, was not invited for the wedding.

While Priyanka stunned everyone with her presence at the wedding, she chose to mingle with her friends, instead of hanging out with celebs such as Katrina, Karan Johar, Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao, Kabir Khan and wife Mini Mathur and Sajid Nadiadwala, who played more of hosts than guests at the function.

However, Mika Singh, who performed for the guests after the rituals were over, called Priyanka to join him on stage. Unfortunately, the "Mary Kom" star's presence didn't really thrill anyone, after which she made a quick exit from the stage.

The wedding ceremony at the Falaknuma Palace ended in a grand note. The Khan family will also host a reception on 21 November in Mumbai, which will be attended by several biggies from the world of politics, businessman, sports and film industry.
