Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas' "S/O (Son of) Satyamurthy", which had a superb debut, has surpassed the ₹45 crore mark at the worldwide box office collections in five-day extended first weekend.

Amidst huge hype and expectations, "S/O Satyamurthy" was released in over 1400 cinema halls worldwide on 9 April and opened to tremendous response everywhere. The movie registered an average of 90 to 100 percent occupancy on Thursday. It raked in ₹9.27 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions and ₹2.50 crore in other parts of the globe.

"S/O Satyamurthy" garnered mixed reviews from both critics and viewers but the word-of-mouth took a toll on its business on the following days. The movie witnessed around 50 percent dip in its collection on Friday and Saturday. However, it showed decent improvement on Sunday. It did better business in A centres than in B and C centres over the weekend.

"S/O Satyamurthy" collected ₹20.61 crore nett (₹27.90 crore gross) at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office in the four-day-extended opening weekend. The movie raked in ₹4.69 crore nett (₹9.4 crore gross) in other parts of India and international markets, excluding the US in four days, reports Andhra Box Office.

The Allu Arjun starrer family drama earned ₹6.94 crore ($1,111,489) at the US box office in the first weekend, according to Taran Adarsh. It has become the first Telugu film to achieve this rare feat in the country in 2015. "S/O Satyamurthy" has collected ₹32.24 crore nett (44.24 crore gross) at the worldwide box office in the four-day-extended first weekend.

"S/O Satyamurthy" collected approximately ₹3.50 crore nett (₹5 crore gross) at the worldwide box office on Monday. Its five-day global total stands at ₹35.74 crore nett (₹49.24 crore gross). Its theatrical rights were sold for a whopping ₹54 crore and the movie has already recovered 60 percent of the investments for its distributors.
