Thousands of candidates, who have written the State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk Mains examination 2016, have been anxiously waiting for the results for about two months now, but there is no sign of the wait coming to an end anytime soon. Reports have claimed that the results could be delayed by more than a month due to the bank's internal issues.

The SBI Clerk mains results 2016 have been delayed for months because of a massive re-shuffle, including transfers and promotions within the bank's recruitment board, a source told India.com. The source went on to say that it make take month-and-a-half for declaration of the results.

It's been over four months since the SBI Clerk Mains examination was conducted. The state-run bank usually declares the results two months after the written exam but not this time, causing distress among the candidates. Many candidates have taken to social media to express their disappointment over the delay as the bank has been keeping them in dark.

The SBI Clerk Mains examination was conducted on June 25 and 26, 2016 for recruitment to the post of clerks or Junior Associates (JA) and Junior Agricultural Associates (JAA). Candidates can check their results on sbi.co.in when it is declared by providing roll number and date of birth.
