The much-awaited Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer "Jagga Jasoos" has been in the news for long for the hot onscreen pairing and now, what looks like a fan-made poster, has made fresh headlines.
Looking cute in their geeky avatars, the lead pair is shown bespectacled in the poster, and both look a lot like the way they looked in one of their last films together - "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani".
Interestingly, while many have been tricked into believing that it's the film's first look, some of Kapoor's fans have rubbished the news on Twitter. So, is it an official poster or is it one made by a fan? Only time will tell.
Directed by Anurag Basu, the detective drama is set to release in October 2015. Essentially about the journey of a son and his mission to find his missing father (played by Govinda), it features Kaif as the Kapoor scion's onscreen love interest and trusted friend. This apart, it is also being said to be a three-film franchise wherein Kapoor's transformation from a teenager to a 40-year-old man will be shown.
Shot at varied locations, the film will reportedly have 20 songs composed by music director Pritam. Additionally, it has been widely reported that the lead pair will essay characters younger than their real age. While the "Bang Bang" actress will play a 22-year-old, Kapoor will play a teenager.
The film, which was to release in May next year, has now been postponed to October owing to some post-production work. According to reports, a lot of VFX works need to be completed by March 2015 and then the music of the film will be worked upon. It would be wise to keep a release date of around 2 October as it's a long weekend.
