The year 2014 had witnessed the release of more than 200 films, and next year won't be any different.

In 2015, hundreds of films are set to premiere in theaters next year, but there are certain films that have already gained a specific amount of attention from audiences.

So, here are 13 of the most awaited movies that are set to release in 2015:

Baby: The film is directed by Neeraj Pandey, who has given out critically acclaimed films like "A Wednesday" and "Special 26". The film features Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Rana Daggubati and Kay Kay Menon in pivotal roles. "Baby" will release on 26 January holiday.

Badlapur: The trailer of the film has got rave reviews, especially Varun Dhawan's acting. The "Main Tera Hero" actor, who has got the chocolate boy image, will be seen doing an intense role in "Badlapur". The film will release on 20 February worldwide.

Jolly LLB 2: The first installment "Jolly LLB" didn't work at the box office, but the film won National Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. The sequel of the courtroom drama is expected to be as interesting as the first installment.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshi: Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, "Detective Byomkesh Bakshi" is one of the most awaited films of 2015. The film, directed by Dibakar Banerjee, is based on a cult detective character set in 1943.

Bombay Velvet: Anurag Kashyap's directorial film was initially set to release in December 2014. However, due to technical issues the makers shifted the release date to 15 May. The film is most awaited as it features Karan Johar in a negative role, while Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor will be the lead pair.

Dil Dhadakne Do: After "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara", "Dil Dhadakne Do" is next directorial film. The film features ex-lovers Anushka and Ranveer Singh in lead role. It also features Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar in key roles. It is set to release on 5 June.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan: The "Ek Tha Tiger" hit director and actor Jodi is back with "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". Directed by Kabir Khan, the film features Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles. "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is set for Eid release making it one of the most anticipated movies of 2015.

Fan: Maneesh Sharma's directorial film features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The Independence Day release has already grabbed the attention with its shooting schedule. Shah Rukh, who has a huge fan following across the world, will be seen playing the role of a fan. The recent shooting of the film outside his residence Mannat in Bandra has already created among audience.

Jagga Jasoos: Another film in which the lead actor plays the role of a detective. But the storyline of "Jagga Jasoos" and "Detective Byomkesh Bakshi" is very different. The film is most anticipated as it features the real-life lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. Furthermore, the film has been directed by Anurag Basu, who has given the critically acclaimed film "Barfi!".

Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: After a long time audience will get to see Salman playing the role of ideal son. The film marks the comeback of the hit director-actor jodi Salman- Sooraj Barjatya. Audience will get a double treat next Diwali as Salman is playing a double role in the film.

Bajirao Mastani: The film has been directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and it features Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the lead role. The story is based on the life of Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao I, which will be portrayed by Ranveer.

Tamasha: It is most anticipated movie of the year as it has been directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film also features ex-lovers Ranbir and Deepika in the lead role.

Jazbaa: Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is set to make a comeback with Sanjay Gupta's directorial film "Jazbaa". The film has already created hype due to star cast. The makers have not announced the release date, but the first poster will be revealed at the Cannes Film Festival 2015.
