The much-awaited Telugu movie starring mega powerstar Ram Charan and Rakul Preet in lead roles, has been launched on Thursday, 5 March at producer D V V Dannaya's Office.
The upcoming film is tentatively titled "My Name is Raju".
While the lead actress could not attend the puja ceremony on Thursday, the other cast and crew of the film, including, Charan, Sreenu Vaitla, Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan and DVV Danayya among others, attended the function.

Charan's parents Chiranjeevi and Surekha were also present.

Directed by Sreenu and written by Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan, the film marks the comeback of director-writer trio, who had split after the 2013 film "Baadshah", which had Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in lead roles.
Kona Venkat also expressed his happiness in being a part of the mega entertainer.

Produced by DVV Danayya under the banner of D V V Entertainments, the upcoming film also has Kriti Kharbanda as Charan's sister; the film will hit screens on 15 October, 2015.
