A woman was allegedly raped at the Infosys campus in Pune by a housekeeping staff member on Sunday. 

The incident took place in the Infosys phase 1 campus in Hinjewadi in Pune, according to ANI news agency. 

Two people have been arrested in connection with the crime. The woman employee worked as a cashier at the office canteen and was reportedly raped during her night shift.

One of the two accused had allegedly raped the 25-year-old woman when she had visited the canteen washroom on Sunday evening, while the other filmed the act on his cellphone and threatened to make the video public. 

Infosys said the company is working with the police on the investigation. 

"We are investigating the matter and are working closely with the police to aid their investigation. We have stringent security measures in place on all our campuses and have a zero tolerance policy against sexual harassment which extends to our contractual staff as well. The company will take necessary action as per policy," Infosys said in a statement.
