When "Pretty Little Liars" returns for its sixth season on 2 June, we'll see the Liars still trapped in the compound of Charles' dollhouse.

The premiere episode will pick up immediately after the events of the finale that saw Aria, Hanna, Spencer, Emily and Mona trying to escape from the dollhouse. But they soon realize they are trapped in the compound of Charles' property, with no way to escape.

Charles is not going to deal lightly with the Liars, and the first few episodes will see him meting out punishment for their disobedience and wrecking his prom. Although they will escape before the 10th episode of the season, the torture they suffer in the dollhouse is going to leave the Liars with serious psychological issues, including post traumatic stress disorder.

The 11th episode of the season will see a time jump, and chances are high the Liars won't be the best of friends they are now.

"It's just cool to see how they've evolved," actress Lucy Hale told People regarding the time jump. "From my knowledge, they're going to go their own separate ways for a little bit. We still have a season and a half to go, so I'm sure there's going to be more turmoil and craziness and everything."

"For the first time, we get to venture out of high school, we get to grow up a little bit. We haven't shot these episodes yet, but we're doing hopefully a significant time jump," Hale said. "So just to see if the girls are dealing with the same issues, if 'A' is still around, how much they've grown up."

The 10th episode of the season might conclude Charles' storyline, but the cast and crew of "Pretty Little Liars" have been hinting that there will be one more baddie in the second half of the season.

While Mona was the original A, and Charles Big A, the second half of the season will see the unmasking of Uber A, who many believe could be Hale's Aria.

"Pretty Little Liars" will return to ABC Family on 2 June.
