New Delhi, June 07 (ANI): With a weakened Congress party which managed just 44 seats in the Lok Sabha, according to reports few regional parties are contemplating coming together to form a 'federal front' that will function as the main opposition party in the house. The talks began after regional parties felt the need to carve out a clear space for themselves in both Houses with NDA 335 MPs in Lok Sabha and Congress 44 occupying two extreme ends of the spectrum. The exchanges also come in the backdrop of indications that Congress will have to fight it out for the leader of opposition post. Meanwhile, reacting over this BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that democracy needs an active and strong opposition, but for the first time there may be a coalition to form opposition.
