Jharkhand, Sep 21 (ANI): After a brief exchange of fire, the police in Jharkhand has managed to recover cache of arms including rifles, bullets, and essential belongings of the Maoists. Superintendent of Police (SSP) Aseem Vikrant Minj stated a gun battle with the rebels had taken place, prior to the recovery. The rebels, also known as Naxals, have fought for decades in a wide swathe of central and eastern India, including many resource-rich regions where tensions run high between poor farmers and industrial developers.
