Srinagar, Sep 07 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday took aerial survey of the flood situation in Jammu and Kashmir and released Rs. 1000 crores of relief assistance to the state government. Modi said that the disaster is not alone of the state but of the whole nation. He said that such situation has not occurred in the JandK since past 50 years and that the central government is assisting the state in all aspects possible. The prime minister also announced compensation worth 2 lakh to families of deceased and 50,000 to injured. Meanwhile, Modi also said that Pakistan occupied Kashmir is also reeling under such situations of flood and assured that India will provide all possible help to Pakistan too.
