Guwahati, Nov 29 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday flagged off the first passenger train to Mendipathar from Guwahati. Speaking at flagging off ceremony, Modi said that it is an important day in the history of railways. Talking about the development of the Indian Railways, Modi said that there is need for better network and facilities in Railways. He added that condition of railway stations should be better than airports as common man travels through trains.
