Actress Deepika Padukone was snapped recently in Kolkata on the sets of Imtiaz Ali's upcoming film "Tamasha" that will also feature Ranbir Kapoor.

As everybody knows, ex-lovers Kapoor and Padukone's onscreen chemistry was the high point of Ayan Mukerji's "Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani". To bring back the same magic, "Jab We Met" director Ali roped in the adored couple for his latest project.

Padukone, along with Ali, was seen in Kolkata while shooting for their film. "Tamasha" has completed shooting some of its scenes in the previous year itself.

"The shooting of the film began in Corsica, France in July 2014. Ranbir Kapoor plays a free spirited person who wants to spread happiness and Deepika's character in the film is of an adventurous and fun-loving girl. There are several sequences which the duo were dabbling in dance and staging skits for the locals. The troupe is one of the reasons for the film's title 'Tamasha'," The Times of India quoted a source.

Kapoor, who is simultaneously shooting for "Roy" and "Bombay Velvet", maintains a healthy and professional relationship with ex-flame Padukone.

He will also appear in Anurag Basu's "Jagga Jasoos" with his lady love Katrina Kaif this year.

The "Happy New Year" actress will be next seen in Shoojit Sircar's "Piku" with Amitabh Bachchan, for which she has gone to Kolkata to shoot last year, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani" opposite his rumoured beau Ranveer Singh.
