Kolkata, Nov 10 (ANI): Parents staged a protest in Kolkata on Monday (November 10) after a girl of class 1 was allegedly sexually abused inside the school premises. Hundreds of parents gathered outside the school to seek immediate action against the school authorities. Parents alleged the girl was molested inside the school campus but the authorities have not spoken anything yet. A mother, Ishmita Roy, demanded that a complaint be filed on this issue immediately. Recurring sexual assaults on minor girls have raised questions about safety of students in schools and have evoked public outrage.
