OnePlus has just announced that its flagship, OnePlus 2, will go on sale Tuesday afternoon on Amazon India.

The company (via Twitter) has just confirmed that the OnePlus 2 sale will go live at 10 am CEST (Central European Standard Time) across the world.

International buyers are advised to head to the official OnePlus e-store (HERE) to purchase the phone, while Indians can order the phone at around 1:30 pm IST on Amazon India, provided they have the invites.

Only OnePlus 2 (64GB) will be available on Amazon India for Rs 24,999. The company is yet to announce the release details of the 16GB (Rs 22,999) variant.

In a related development, OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei, in an interview with The Indian Express, said the company has no plans of reducing the price of its first generation phone.

This is contradictory to what Vikas Agarwal, India Head, OnePlus, had said last month.

Agarwal had claimed that the company has set a target of achieving one million device sales this financial year, and in order to achieve the target, OnePlus One (both 16GB & 64GB models) would get price-cut after the launch of OnePlus 2.

Now, Carl Pei says that slashing OnePlus One's price would be like slapping their early buyers who went through a cumbersome procedure to buy the device. He added the company will resort to price cut only if it is desperate to clear the old stock of OnePlus One.
