Bhubaneswar, Oct 9 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursady held a review meeting in the wake of the 'Cyclone Hudhud' alert issued for the state. Meanwhile, the National Crisis Management Committee (NCMC), which is chaired by Union Cabinet Secretary Ajit Kumar Seth, also reviewed the preparedness for dealing with the aftermath of Cyclone Hudhud, which is likely to hit the coasts of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on October 12. The Cabinet Secretary asked representatives of all Central Ministries, Departments and Chief Secretaries of the concerned State Governments to take necessary steps for preparedness to meet any eventuality from the cyclone. In wake of the cyclonic storm "Hudhud", the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has placed its five Battalions situated at Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and Bihar on high alert. These NDRF battalions comprise of 51 teams.
