Vikram Chaitanya, who worked as assistant of director Sukumar for "Nannaku Prematho" and other movies, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Hyderabad in the wee hours of Monday.

Vikram Chaitanya was reportedly staying with his mother and brother on the second floor of Rainbow Vistas apartment, Kukatpally. Security personnel discovered the body of the 32-year-old lying in a pool of blood on the ground floor of the apartment at 2:00 a.m. on Monday. The Kukatpally police shifted his body to Gandhi hospital and handed it over to his family. His final rites will take place on Tuesday.

The untimely death of Vikram Chaitanya has shocked many in the Telugu film industry. Some people closer to him believe that he might have committed suicide, while others have denied that he would take such a cowardly step. However, the Kukatpally police think that it might have been an an accidental fall. "We didn't find any suicide note and we suspect that it might be an accidental fall," Sakshi quoted inspector K Purushottam as saying.

Vikram Chaitanya was an assistant director and he worked with director Sukumar on big ticket projects like "Nannaku Prematho" starring Junior NTR, "Nenokkadine" starring Mahesh Babu and "Kumari 21F." He was credited for additional dialogues and screenplay for "Nannaku Prematho." He had also played a small role as a traffic constable in Sukumar's short film "I Am That Change" starring Allu Arjun.

He celebrated his birthday on August 8 and the news of his sudden demise has sent shock-waves among his friends and the film fraternity. Some took to their Twitter handles to pay condolences to him. Here are their comments.
