Actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and his wife Amala say they are happy with their sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil's selection of their life partners and they will soon announce the details of their wedding.
The speculations about the relationship between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha started doing the rounds in the media after the actress spoke about her boyfriend in a recent interview. The video featuring them in the balcony of their love nest in Gachibowli fuelled the rumours. Later, sources close to the Akkineni family confirmed the news about their love affair.
"Chaitanya and Samantha have been seeing each other for a while now. Parents of both the actors have recently met and given their consent. They are yet to decide the date of the engagement though. It will take place after Chaitanya completes shooting for the Premam remake," Hyderabad Times quoted a source in the know as informing.
Of late, it was rumoured that Akhil Akkineni is getting engaged to his girlfriend. The young actor admitted that he is seeing a girl and he has even introduced her to her parents. But he denied the rumours about his engagement. "You've heard I am engaged? Umm... Not yet... I've introduced the girl I'm seeing to my parents," Akhil told the Deccan Chronicle.
Talking to the Deccan Chronicle, Nagarjuna expressed his happiness over the love affairs of his songs Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni. He assured to make an official announcement about the details about their relationship. However, he denied the rumours about Akhil's engagement.
"Amala and I are very happy for Chaitanya, who has found someone who makes him happy. We'll be making the announcement soon. Akhil too is seeing a girl. But contrary to rumours, they are not engaged as yet," Nagarjuna told the Deccan Chronicle.
Meanwhile, the engagement and wedding ceremonies of Nagarjuna's sons Naga Chaitanya and Akhil Akkineni are going to be biggest family events in the Telugu film industry.
