Micromax's sub-brand YU Televentures Ltd is set to kick off Yureka flash sale later today.

The company's official e-commerce partner Amazon India has confirmed to host the 14th edition YU Yureka flash sale on 16 April 2:00 pm with 20,000 smartphone units up for grabs.

Like previous times, today's flash sale is expected to get over in a few seconds. And we would like to remind prospective buyers that there are 5,000 units less than last week's sale, where 25,000 devices got sold in mere seven seconds.

Registered consumers are advised to login to Amazon India site two hours prior to flash sale and be ready with debit card details for smooth and quick transaction. If users take more than permissible time to complete the transaction, the Yureka smartphone will be taken off the kart and passed on to the next eligible buyer.

For the uninitiated, Micromax YU Yureka sports a 5.5-inch HD display and run on the Cyanogen CM12S (based on Android 4.4.4 KitKat) OS powered by the Snapdragon 615 Octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt memory and 2500 mAh battery, which can run the phone for close to 210 hours under standby mode.
