Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car maker, is expected to launch its cheapest automatic car Alto K10 AMT in India in the first week of November. The company has already started the shipment of the new Alto models to dealerships across the country and the booking for the car is underway.
Now days ahead of the possible launch of Maruti Alto K10 AMT in India, some crucial details of the car have emerged online, including the expected price details of the car.
Going by the report of GaadiWaadi, the least expensive automatic car from Maruti's stable will be launched in six variants - LX, LXi, VXi, VXi (Airbag), VXi (AMT) and LXi (CNG). The Alto K10 top-end variant VXi will come in three trims and it is only this model, which will get Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) and airbag.
Now talking of the prices, the base variant of Alto K1-0 Lxi is expected to get a price tag of ₹2.9 lakh and the top-end of model of Alto K10 VXi AMT is likely to be priced at ₹3.9 lakh. The CNG variant of Alto K10 is likely to be priced around ₹3.8 lakh.
The engine line-up of Alto k10 AMT will include 1-litre three-cylinder K-Series engine, which can pump in a power of 68ps and a peak torque of 90nm and the transmission is likely to come from 5-peed manual transmission or 5-speed AMT.
As far as the mileage of new Alto is concerned, the Automatic and manual variants of Alto K10 is expected to give a fuel efficiency of 24.07kmpl ,while the CNG version is pegged at 32.36km/kg
