Purulia, Nov 10 (ANI): A village situated in the Maoist hotbed of Purulia district in West Bengal is poised to take off on the development path, thanks to the launch of a special development programme by the government. Authorities in the area distributed disabled friendly wheelchairs to specially abled children with a motive to make them regular at school. With an aim to empower and regularize specially abled students authorities distributed tricycles under a programme called ‘Sarva Siksha Mission’ (SSM). Tricycles were distributed to 91 specially abled children and the same would be continued in the nearby villages.
