After launching the ZUK Z2 Pro, Lenovo is prepping to unveil the generic Z2 model in China next week.
The company has confirmed wit will host the Lenovo ZUK Z2 launch event in China on May 31, Gizmo China reported, citing the press invitation.
Lenovo also released a teaser image of the phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset on Weibo. This announcement comes a week after the company CEO had revealed on Weibo the ZUK Z2 would come with the same Samsung Exynos 8890 processor seen inside the Galaxy S7 series.
Going by series of Lenovo teasers, many believe the ZUK Z2 may come in two models. Even its top-end sibling Z2 Pro is offered in two configuration in China.
Besides the two CPU combinations, the ZUK Z2 is expected to house a U-Touch fingerprint ID security system and boast a 2.5D double glass design language. Other features such as screen size, RAM, camera and battery capacity are yet to be ascertained.
