Top PC maker Lenovo has launched two new generation laptops - Yoga 2 and Flex 2 - in India.
The new Yoga 2 convertible ultrabook series comes with a 13.3-inch full HD (1920x1080p) IPS wide-view touch-screen screen and, as the name suggests, users can flip the laptop a full 360 degrees to fours modes - laptop, tablet, stand and tent.
Under the hood, it ships with latest Windows 8.1 OS, Dolby Home Theater audio system and HD web camera. The company also offers configurable options for users to incorporate their preferred Intel's Core-i series (up to i7), RAM (up to 8GB) and SSD storage (up to 256GB).
Yoga 2's price is said to begin from ₹59,990, and the cost will go up based on the configuration of the device.
Flex 2, on the other hand, is a dual-mode laptop, where the device's screen can be bent up to 300 degrees to stand mode, in order to operate the device via touch screen. The device's composition can also be customized on buyers' preferences, such as processor type (up to Core i7), RAM (up to 16GB), camera (0.3-megapixel/1.0-megapixel) and storage capacity (up to 1TB HHD/1TB SSHD).
Pricing of the device will start from ₹41,990 and go up, according to the configuration.
Both Lenovo tablets have been made available at the company's official retail website TheDoStore, and at local brick-and-mortar showrooms across India.
