"Premam" boys Siju Wilson, Justin John, Soubin Shahir and Sharafudheen-starrer "Happy Wedding" released on May 20 along with Dulquer Salmaan's "Kammatipaadam" has been performing well at the Kerala box office.

"Happy Wedding" has been released in screens outside Kerala in Mumbai, Karnataka, Hyderabad and Tamil Nadu on Friday, June 10, after completing three weeks of its theatrical run in Kerala. From 35 screens on its opening day, the screen-count of the film has been increased in the state due to the good response from the audience. The movie is expected to do good business as there are no major releases this month due to the sacred month of Ramadan. "Happy Wedding" is now screened in 130 screens throughout the country.

The makers of the low-budget movie have also thanked the audience for accepting the entertainer, which is based on the life of few engineering students. "Happy Wedding into successful 4th week. We the team Happy Wedding, express our sincere thanks to all those who supported us in this journey. And in this 4th week we have reached into a mile stone of 130 screens from 35 screens in the Ist week. We once again thank the almighty for his endless shower of his grace upon us [sic]," the makers of "Happy Wedding" posted on their Facebook page.

The movie, which had a dull opening at the Kerala box office, is said to have grossed approximately Rs. 3.48 crore with a net amount of Rs. 2.77 crore within 15 days of its release in the state. The comedy entertainer, bankrolled by Nazir Ali, is the debut directorial venture of Omar. The movie, released throughout the country by Eros International, also has Drishya, Saiju Kurup, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Sudhi Koppa, Niyaz Bekkar, Vinod Kovoor, Thesni Khan and Ambika Mohan in pivotal roles.
