As the popular TV game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" gears up for its ninth edition, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan took to his official blog to share an important information for aspiring contestants.
Big B has warned about fake registration for the show doing the rounds on Internet. He also said nothing has been finalised by Sony television channel about the upcoming season.
"I get messages that seek registrations for KBC season 9 and so on .. this is a scam .. a fake .. an effort to fool innocent people .. caution all .. Sony has not given out any such direction ..," the "Piku" actor wrote on his blog on Saturday.
Sr Bachchan has been associated with the popular game show "Kaun Banega Crorepati" as the host since it aired in 2000, except for its third season that was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Big B is gearing up for the release of Bejoy Nambiar's "Wazir" on 2 October. The film also has Farhan Akhtar playing a crucial role.
"Wazir" has the "Paa" actor play an ailing wheel-chair stricken chess master, while Farhan is a tough Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) officer. The trailers have received a huge response from fans worldwide.
