Poonch, Nov 09 (ANI): Authorities beefed up security as the election cell in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir prepares for assembly polls. The assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in five-phases, beginning on November 25 and ending on December 20. The counting of votes will take place on December 23. As a part of back-up, extra forces have arrived in Poonch on Sunday (November 09), in wake of the cross border firing to ensure safety and fair elections to be held on 2nd December. Meanwhile, in charge of election cell, Sikander Mehmood said that the election preparations have been completed.
