New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): Julianne Moore' has claimed the title of
Best Actress at the 87th Academy Awards for outstanding
performance in 'Still Alice.' The film by director Wash
Westmoreland revolves around a renowned linguistics professor at
Columbia University Dr. Alice Howland, played by Julianne, who
comes face-to-face with a devastating diagnosis: early-onset
Alzheimer's disease, and as she struggles to hang on to her sense
of self for as long as possible, her family watch helplessly as
their mother disappears more and more with each passing day.
