Ajmer, Nov 22, (ANI): Dying form of Indian traditional art, Puppetry got a fresh breath of life and entertains children at famed Pushkar fair in northwestern state of Rajasthan. Artists showed their talent of puppetry and brought back the traditional Rajasthan art form to the minds of the people at the fair in Rajasthan s Ajmer town. The fair, kicked off on November 06, is known worldwide to present a brilliant combination of camel rides, various sporting events, Indian handicrafts, and mouth-savouring food. Set against the backdrop of Rajasthan s picturesque landscape, the annual fair offers a lifetime experience for the tourists. The puppet show attracted visitors especially children as it was clubbed with Rajasthani folk music. Tourist officials said the traditional form of Rajasthani theatre showcased at the road shows conducted across the country provides an opportunity to the artisans to make a quick buck. Apart from being a major tourist spot, the fair attracts hundreds of animal traders and buyers from neighboring states also.
