Siliguri, Jan 3 (ANI): A vast variety of exquisite, traditional artifacts by more than 400 artisans from across India's eastern West Bengal state attracts a steady stream of visitors to the ongoing handicraft fair. The month-long exhibition organised by the state government aims at providing a platform to small-scale artisans where they can showcase their products and provide a boost to their business which is not exposed to bigger markets. The artisans proudly displayed the fruits of their labour. A wide array of ethnic products including hand embroidered products, Tibetan art products, wooden items and a wide array clay and mud items were displayed at various stalls. The fair offers a unique opportunity to the people of the state to have direct interaction with the artisans and weavers from all over the country and purchase goods without any middle men.
