Jammu and Kashmir, Jan 13 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir, the northern most state of India is known for its pristine beauty. It is also known for amity between the many communities present here. Here, a Blanket Fair is organized every year in the premises of Narsingh Temple situated 50 kilometers from Samba district of Jammu. People belonging to different communities sell and buy blankets at reasonable prices. Blanket fair or Rathkhada fair as it is popularly known is famous for the fine quality of woolen sold here. From hand woven shawls to machine made ones all were sold and bought here by people belonging to different faiths. The blanket fair is yet another example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptances of differences in the country, which has helped in the evolution of a composite culture.
