Chinese smartphone giant Huawei launched its feature-rich budget Android-based handsets Honor 4C and Honor Bee in India on Friday.

Huawei Honor 4C sports a 5.0-inch HD display and runs on the Android 4.4 KitKat OS, backed by the company's proprietary Hisilicon Kirin 620 series Octa-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and a 2550 mAh battery which can power the phone for close to 600 hours under standby mode.

Huawei's ultra-budget smartphone Honor Bee features a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 1.2GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 1750 mAh battery.

The company has confirmed that Honor 4C and Honor Bee will be sold exclusively on Flipkart for ₹8,999 (HERE) and ₹4,999 (HERE) respectively.

Competition:

With sub-₹9,000 price-tag, Huawei Honor 4C is poised to give stiff challenge to YU Yureka, Lenovo A6000 Plus, A7000, Lumia 640 in addition to its own phablet sibling, 5.5-inch Honor 4X.

The Honor Bee will be up against the popular MNC brands Motorola Moto E (2nd Gen), Xiaomi Redmi 2, Lenovo A6000 as well as some domestic players.
