Thursday night's episode of ABC's new crime drama "How to Get Away with Murder," (HTGAWM) has revealed a lot about Lila Stangard's (Megan West) pregnancy and her relationship with Professor Sam Keating (Tom Verica).
But the legal drama did not have any clear indication about the culprits of the Twin murder case. In fact, the storyline of "He Has a Wife" took the fans through the worst roller coaster of events, leaving behind several questions in the minds of the viewers.
The show began with a flash forward sequence of Stangard and Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay), wherein the former tells the latter about her new affair with a married man. Through the sequence, she narrates about the developments of the relationship and the consequences she had to face because of it.
Stangard informs Sutter that she lost her virginity and her lover wants to end up the relationship. According to her, "Bad things happen when you have sex."
On the other hand, Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil) informs Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) that according to the second autopsy result, Stangard was six weeks pregnant at the time of her death.
Meanwhile, Annalise becomes skeptical about Sam's involvement in Stangard's pregnancy and she asks him about it. But he promises her that he has nothing to do with it.
In the meantime, Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) informs Sutter about the second autopsy result and she passes over the information to Detective Nate Lahey (Billy Brown).
Things take up a turn when Gibbbins sees Sutter with Lahey as he becomes furious about the detective's agenda in helping his neighbour. He believes that the detective is spying on her.
Meanwhile, Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil) looks out for an opportunity to talk to Sam. Finally, when she gets it, she informs him that Stangard had come to meet Annalise on the night she was killed. And since, Winterbottom was suspicious about the student, she shooed her.
This is the moment in the storyline of "HTGAWM" when Sam admits that he was aware of the pregnancy. He convinces Winterbottom to keep the information a secret and the two share a kiss.
But Annalise tells everything to her boss, even about the kiss, and as a result, she gets fired on the spot.
