"Game of Thrones", one of the most gripping and addictive shows of the century, is returning with Season 6 on Sunday, Apr. 24, 2016. As many fans humorously put it, "a man is tired of waiting", but thankfully there is a new teaser for the upcoming season that has kept our impatient hearts distracted.

The teaser showed the faces of many important characters of "Game Thrones" decked up in the Hall of Faces. Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) was there, leading fans back to think maybe he is dead after all, only to realise living characters like Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) were accompanying him.

This could be allusion to the popular High Valyrian greeting "Valar Morghulis", which translates to "All Men Must Die". When the Khaleesi was told this in Season 3 Episode 3 "Walk of Punishment", she had replied "We are not men". It is pretty ironic that her face also ends up among the dead in the Hall of Faces.

Fans know Arya (Maisie Williams) was training to become "a faceless man", or faceless girl in her case, but decided to disobey the rules of the Many-Faced God. She had infiltrated a brothel and killed Ser Meryn (Ian Beattie), who was on her "kill list".

Later, Jaqen (Tom Wlaschiha) and the Waif (Faye Marsay) had confronted her and berated her for taking a life that was not hers to take, and to appease the Many-Faced God, Jaqen killed himself. The Waif then changed Arya's own face to that of Jaqen, and told her "Jaqen" was "No One", and warned her that without becoming "No One", face can be a dangerous thing, and proceeded to turn Arya blind.

In the books, Arya was blind for a while, but that was part of her training, but here, it looks like she is being punished for not following the rules. It is not known how long Arya will remain blind, but the promo photo for Season 6 shows her blind and begging.

From the events of the Season 5 finale, it is confirmed that it will not be easy for Arya to become "No One". She will always have the essence of Arya within her, and crossing off every name in her "kill list" will remain a priority for her. In fact, being blind is expected to heighten her other senses and turn her into a better fighter.

Many fans assume she may take on the face of her father Ned Stark (Sean Bean) and go on her killing spree. However, the problem with this theory is she can only use the faces of dead people, meaning she needs to choose faces of people who were of similar size and height as her.

An interesting theory put forth by Emergency Awesome is Arya is more likely to take Joffrey's (Jack Gleeson) face and kill her enemies in Westeros when the time comes. It would be pretty spectacular to see Cersei (Lena Heady) being killed by her precious son Joffrey.
