Godda, May 18 (ANI): At least 14 people were killed while 20 others injured in a fatal road accident as bus overturned in Godda district of Jharkhand. According to police the bus was returning from a marriage party when the driver, who was drunk, lost control and the vehicle overturned. The injured have been admitted to a hospital in the district, where seven of them were reported to be critical. Twelve were found dead on the spot and later, two succumbed to their injuries in the hospital. Police said investigations were under way and elaborated on the details. The driver is still absconding. Road accidents are common in India, where roads are often of poor quality.
