New Delhi, Aug 11 (ANI): Sachin Tendulkar was granted leave of absence from Rajya Sabha on Monday. The Rajya Sabha chairman granted him leave for the entire session. Deputy chairman PJ Kurien said Tendulkar has requested permission to be absent from the house, citing "personal and professional commitments" and "family exigencies". Sachin along with Bollywood star Rekha had earlier come under attack in the Upper House over their regular absence from the Parliament.
