Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has demanded a hefty paycheck to act in Shankar's "Enthiran 2".
As per Times of India, Arnold demanded Rs 100 crore to act in the "Enthiran" sequel! Though Shankar had a discussion with the "Terminator" star, the makers of the movie have not sealed the deal yet and are also considering other big names to act in the forthcoming movie.
It is unclear whether the makers will sign Arnold by meeting his demands. The biggest question that comes to one's mind is if it is a worthy investment, considering the limited market for Tamil movies. The issue might get more clarity in the coming days.
Arnold has been offered an equal role to Rajinikanth in "Enthiran 2", says the buzz. But there are contradicting reports on his role. While some say that he has been offered the role of an antagonist, some say that he will be one of the heroes in the flick.
Earlier, it was speculated that Vikram will be playing the role of the baddie.
Meanwhile, Amy Jackson has been roped in to play the female lead in "Enthiran 2". The actress has gone to the US and is preparing for her role. Her body mould has been created and special costumes are being designed for her.
Shankar is meanwhile finalising the other cast. As per the reports, AR Rahman is composing the music. Nirah Shah will handle the cinematography department and Muthuraj will do art direction.
The project is likely to be launched on 12 December, on Rajinikanth's birthday. The shooting will begin only in early 2016.
