Earth Day is observed in more than 193 countries ever year on April 22 to encourage people all over the world to be more environmental friendly. The first Earth Day was held in the U.S. in the year 1970, and was founded by former U.S. senator Gaylord Nelson.
The most common ways of celebrating the day is by planting trees, cleaning the surroundings and organising various events creating awareness on recycling as well as conservation of the greatest planet.
