Popular actress Drashti Dhami and Arjun Bijlani's new show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, which has been making news for the past couple of months, is set to hit the screen soon.

According to India Forums report, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil will be telecast from November 7 at the 8 pm slot on Star Plus. While this piece of news will surely excite millions of fans of the actors who are eager to watch the couple together, some might be disappointed as the show will apparently replace another immensely popular show. Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil will replace Siya Ke Ram, which has Ashish Sharma as Ram and Madirakshi Mundle as Sita.

"Ekta Kapoor's upcoming show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil will start airing from 7th November. It will be replacing popular show Siya Ke Ram, taking the 8 pm time slot," a source told the website.

Pardes Mein Hai Meraa Dil is inspired from hit Bollywood film Pardes starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahima Chaudhry. Arjun will play the role of Anand, a character which is similar to Shah Rukh's role in the film. This will be the first time that Arjun and Drashti will be sharing the screen space.

The show, produced by Ekta Kapoor under her banner Balaji Telefilms, has been extensively shot in Austria. Earlier, it was reported that Shaleen Malhotra was roped in as the male lead. But the actor opted out of the project due to creative differences with the makers.

Drashti, who rose to fame as Madhubala from the show Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, was last as Gayatri on Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. Arjun, on the other hand, although has been a part of several TV shows in the past, tasted success as the lead role of Rithik in supernatural show Naagin.
