New Delhi, Sept 05 (ANI): In a bid to improve the teaching and learning outcomes on schools, India needs competent and willing teachers, said President Pranab Mukherjee while addressing the National Teachers Awards function coinciding with Teacher's Day on Friday (September 05) in New Delhi. He also said teachers should imbibe in students the values of tolerance, secularism and inclusiveness to make the world a safer and better place to live in. The president also awarded some teachers at the function.
