After a lot of speculations and rumours, the team of "Masss" has announced the release date of the movie as 29 May. Earlier, makers had said that the movie would hit screens on 15 May but postponed it for unknown reasons.
Meanwhile, actor Suriya said that the Telugu version of the movie titled "Rakshudu" will release on the same day.

The news of the delay in 'Masss" release had disappointed Suriya fans, but the latest confirmation has brought some cheer.
It is also being said that the film was postponed so that Suriya's production "36 Vayadhinile" starring his wife Jyothika faces no threat from the release of "Masss". "36 Vayadhinile" hits screens on 15 May.
The team also released the music of "Masss" composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja on 8 May, which had received some overwhelming response from the audience.
"Masss" directed by Venkat Prabhu features Nayanthara in the lead opposite Suriya and the flick is touted to be a comedy fantasy thriller.
The movie also has a versatile star cast comprising Pranitha Subhash, Premgi Amaren, Parthiban, Samthirakani, Karunan, Simran, Sanjay Bharathi, Vidhyulekha Raman, Riyaz Khan and Ganesh.
The story and screenplay of "Mass" is by the director himself. The cinematography of the movie is by RD Rajasekhar and Praveen KL has edited the movie.
"Masss" jointly produced by Studio Green and 2D Entertainment and will be distributed by Eros International.
