British OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Bullitt in collaboration with photography pioneer, Kodak has finally pulled the wraps off the company's first ever pro-camera Android smartphone Instamatic 5 at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2015, Las Vegas.

The new Kodak Instamatic 5 sports 5.0-inch IPS HD LCD screen and runs on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS powered by 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa-core processor with 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt memory and a 2,150mAh battery.

On photography front, it houses a 13mp camera with LED flash and 5mp snapper on the front. It's UI has been made less-complex by providing short-cuts for easy access to gallery, print and camera options.

Bullitt-Kodak Instamatic 5 price and availability details:

The company is expected to release the Kodak Instamatic 5 initially in Europe by the end of first quarter (late March or early April) for around $249 (around €210/₹15,800), reported Android Central.

There was so much buzz during the run up to its official launch at CES 2015, but the Kodak Instamatic 5's specifications are quite disappointing.

Even camera features are not even on par with mid-range class based smartphones found in emerging countries like India and China.

It remains to be seen how European consumers would receive the Kodak smartphone later this year.
