SS Rajamouli's upcoming multi-starrer "Baahubali" has been making headlines ever since the makers released the first-look.

The film, which is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu is expected to rock the box offices in India and abroad.

"Baahubali" has become the talk of the town due to its ensemble cast, which includes Rana Daggubati, Prabhas Raju, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar, Sathyaraj, Adivi Sesh, Sudeep and Tanikella Bharani.

Rajamouli's previous outing "Eega" was also well-received by the audience. It was also made in Tamil and Telugu, and was dubbed in Malayalam and Hindi.

"Eega", starring Sudeep, Samantha and Nani, collected a gross amount of ₹1.25 billion ($20 million) from the worldwide box office. The fantasy drama garnered positive reviews and collected almost ₹170 million on the first day of its release as well as completed 100 days of theatrical run.

While "Eega" was released with over 1,200 prints, "Baahubali" is expected to be released in more than 4,000 theatres worldwide, beating the records of Shankar-Vikram's "I".

Apart from the large number of screens, advance booking for the film should also be seen as a positive sign.

Latest reports suggest that the audience have been responding well for the "benefit shows" of the film, for which the tickets are priced between ₹4,000 and ₹8,000.

Therefore, similar to the record collection by "Eega", the upcoming multi-starrer is also expected to create box-office records within days of its release.

Will Rajamouli's "Baahubali" breaks the records of his "Eega"?
