Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has emerged as the ultimate winner of Malayalam box-office collection this year. Two of his movies, "Premam" and "Oru Vadakkan Selfie", have come across as the biggest blockbusters of Malayalam cinema this year.

"Premam", which is now nearing 30 days at the Indian box office, is on its way to be the highest grossing Malayalam cinema and has already become Nivin Pauly's most successful movie till date. The film is not only doing well in Kerala, but also in other major cities of the country as well as overseas.

The demand for the tickets has led "Premam" to be the first Malayalam film to have maximum additional shows after blockbuster hit "Narasimham" starring Mohanlal.

According to trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai, "Premam" has forced multiplexes in Chennai to have additional shows on its fourth week as well.

The film has reportedly earned over ₹30 crore in 25 days, which is phenomenal for a Malayalam film.

Meanwhile, "Oru Vadakkan Selfie", also starring Nivin, has become yet another highest grossing movies in Malayalam cinema in 2015. The movie, which also featured Vineeth Sreenivasan, Manjima Mohan, Aju Varghese and Neeraj Madhav in key roles, is estimated to have grossed nearly ₹21 crore till date.
