Like at the Kerala box office, Malayalam movie "Premam" is continuing to create waves at the overseas box office as well. The overseas weekend box office collection report suggests that the Nivin Pauly starrer has beaten Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu movies in countries like the US and the UK.

According to popular website, Bollywood Hungama, "Premam" is ranked at number three after "ABCD- Any Body Can Dance" and "Dil Dhadakne Do" among Indian releases with regard to weekend box office collection between 19–21 June.

According to the website, "Premam" second weekend box office collection in the US alone is $36,864 from 17 screens and the total gross of the movie has reached $159,398 (₹1.01crore).

The movie has therefore beaten box office collections of Bollywood movie "Hamari Adhuri Kahani", starring Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan, Tamil movie "Eli", starring Vadivelu, and Telugu movie "Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini", starring Sudheer Babu and Nanditha Raj, in the US.

In the UK, "Premam" has completed its first weekend on a strong note and the movie ranked third after "ABCD – Any Body Can Dance 2" and "Dil Dhadakne Do" according to the UK and Ireland weekend box office collection.

On its first weekend, the Nivin Pauly starrer collected £22,261(₹22.7 lakh) from 21 screens, which is higher than the weekend collections of "Eli", "Hamari Adhuri Kahani" and "Romeo Juliet".

"Premam", directed by Alphonse Putharen, had opened to overwhelming response in Kerala. Besides Nivin Pauly, the film has been appreciated for the performance of its lead actors Anupama Parameshwara, Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian, Krishnan Shankar, Sabareesh Varma, Renji Panicker, Vinay Forrt, Soubin Sahir, Wilson Joseph, Jude Anthany Joseph and Maniyanpilla Raju.
