Salman Khan's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" continues to bring in cash for the makers of the film. The film completed its three-week run at the domestic box office on Thursday with a net income of more than Rs 206 crore.

At the worldwide box office, "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" has grossed more than Rs 400 crore and is now the fifth highest grosser of all time. And now, the film is aiming to shatter the worldwide box office collection records of Shah Rukh Khan's "Chennai Express".

"Prem Ratan Dhan Payo" needs to earn more than Rs 423 crore to beat the lifetime box office earnings of "Chennai Express".

Meanwhile, the collection of the film will decline in its fourth week due to new releases. Erotic thriller "Hate Story 3" has opened to a good response in India.

The film will draw audience more at single screens compared to multiplexes. The opening day occupancy of the film is around 35 to 40 percent in theaters in India, and it might get an opening of more than Rs 5 crore.

Trade analysts too have given a positive feedback about the opening day occupancy of "Hate Story 3".

"Franchises doing the trick, after #PyaarKaPunchnama2 its #HateStory3 striking good at the BO," box office analyst Girish Johar tweeted.

"Start of #HateStory3 is very good. Considering that the film stars no big names, the opening would be considered very good," trade analyst Komal Nahta tweeted.

"#HateStory3: Skin show + good music + engrossing plot + popular brand + right economics = Winner at the BO," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

Directed by Vishal Pandya, the film features Zareen Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Sharman Joshi and Daisy Shah in lead roles.
