Sri Murali's Kannada movie "Rathavara" has clashed with "Hate Story 3", "Minchaagi Nee Baralu" and "Care of Footpath 2" in Bengaluru.

However, "Rathavara" is the clear winner as the film has garnered fantastic reception from the audience in Bengaluru. The Kannada film had close to 100 shows and the morning shows in the city ran into packed houses in over 50% of the theatres.

Sri Murali's film enjoyed great occupancy. Considering the advance bookings, the average occupancy on the release day is expected to be somewhere between 65-75% as prime time shows are getting stupendous response from the Kannada cine-goers.

In case of Bollywood movie "Hate Story 3", the erotic-thriller had a decent opening and the average occupancy is expected to be between 25-35% on the release day in Bengaluru, say traders. The movie is releasing in only limited screens and has less than 30 shows in the city. The film has Sharman Joshi, Zarine Khan, Karan Singh Grover, Daisy Shah and others in the cast.

"Minchagi Nee Baralu", starring Diganth and Kriti Kharbhanda, enjoyed around 40% occupancy from less than 20 shows. The good word-of-mouth is expected to boost the collection of this film in the coming days.

Master Kishen's "Care of Footpath 2" has around 25 shows and has less occupancy as compared to "Rathavara" and other releases.

Coming to "Rathavara", the film has garnered fairly positive reviews and the movie is set to make it big at the box office this weekend. It is an action thriller directed by Chandrashekhar Bandiyappa.
