New Delhi, Sept 25 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday opposed an ordinance that reverses a Supreme Court order disqualifying MPs and MLAs if convicted in a criminal case. The Government opted for the ordinance route on Tuesday, after a bill for the same could not be passed in the monsoon session of parliament. Speaking to mediapersons in New Delhi, BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that the party will not accept the ordinance on convicted lawmakers.
