Indian telecom industry has gone through a sea change after Reliance Jio offered free data and voice calls under its Welcome Offer in October last year. Other major telecom operators like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Aircel and BSNL were forced to fall in line by introducing attractive tariff plans to retain its subscribers. It came as a boon for consumers.
Today, all the major telecom operators have unlimited voice calling tariff plans for their subscribers at a reasonable price, and here are some of the best plans you can avail in May 2017:

Reliance Jio's best voice calling tariff plans (prepaid)
Dhan Dhana Dhan plan offers unlimited calls (both local and STD), national roaming voice calls, and SMS to subscribers of all telecom operators, and free access to Jio Premium apps for three months (84 days). It also comes with 84GB of 4G data (1GB per day). However, non-prime members have to pay Rs. 99 more to avail the offer, taking the amount to Rs. 408.
Rs 509 plan also offers unlimited voice calls, national roaming voice calls and SMS (local and STD) to subscribers of all telecom operators for 84 days. It comes with 2GB of 4G data per day for three months (168GB data). However, non-prime members have to pay Rs. 608. The Rs. 999 plan also offers unlimited voice calls and SMS across the country but it is valid for 120 days and unlimited data at 4G speed for 160GB (unlimited data at 128kbps post FUP).
Bharti Airtel's best voice calling tariff plan (prepaid)
You can avail unlimited local and STD calls (across all networks) for a recharge of Rs. 345 for 28 days. It has a cap of 300 minutes per day and 3,000 minutes per month. The plan also comes with 28GB of 4G data with a FUP of 1GB per day (500MB to be used during the day and 500MB in the night from 12am to 6am).
Other plans that offer unlimited local and STD airtel to airtel mobile calls are Rs. 244 (70 days), Rs. 349 (28 days) and Rs. 399 (70 days).
Vodafone's best voice calling tariff plan (prepaid)
Rs 145-149 (price varies from region to region) plan offers unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls (Vodafone to Vodafone) for 28 days with a cap of 300 minutes of talk time per day, and 30 paisa to be charged per minute thereafter. The plan also offers 300MB of data for 4G handset users.
You can also avail unlimited local and STD calls across all networks for 28 days by recharging your phone for Rs 344-349, of course with a cap of 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. 30 paisa per minute will be charged if the limit is crossed. The plan also offers 1GB data for 4G handset users.
Idea Cellular's best voice calling tariff plan (prepaid)
Rs 247 and Rs 447 plans offer unlimited Idea to Idea local and STD calls with 300 minutes of call per day and 1200 minutes per week capping. Both the plans are valid for 70 days but Rs. 447 plan has 3,000 minutes of calls to other networks.
Rs. 348 plan offers unlimited voice call and SMS (both local and STD) to any network across India for 28 days. It also offers 1GB of 4G data per day (28GB data) and the offer is valid for 28 days. The Rs. 291 and Rs. 191 plans also offer unlimited Aircel to Aircel calling (local and STD). However, the former comes with 5GB of 3G data and 1800 minutes of call from Aircel to other networks (local and STD), while the latter offers 2GB of 3G data and 900 minutes of call from Aircel to others.
BSNL's best voice calling tariff plan (prepaid)
Rs. 339 plan offers unlimited voice calling (both local and STD) within BSNL for 28 days. It also comes with unlimited data, a FUP of 2GB per day with no speed restriction and 80kbps speed after crossing 2GB limit.
