The Baahubali team is currently busy with the pre-production works for the film's sequel. SS Rajamouli is working on the script and also roping in new cast and crew members for the film. He has roped in RC Kamalakannan as the the VFX Supervisor for "Baahubali: The Conclusion". The team has confirmed the news on the official facebook and Twitter pages of the movie.

"We are happy to announce that R.C. Kamalakannan, well known for his work in Magadheera and Eega (Makkhi), will be the VFX Supervisor for Baahubali: The Conclusion! In addition to several state awards, Kamalakannan has also won two National Film Awards for Best Visual Effects," the makers wrote, besides posting the picture of RC Kamalakannan.

The makers of "Baahubali" have not made it clear why they have replaced V Srinivas Mohan with RC Kamalakannan as VFX Supervisor for "Baahubali: The Conclusion". But the buzz in film nagar is that Srinivas Mohan has signed a Tamil film. Since the dates of that movie clashed with "Baahubali 2", he walked out of the project.

Along with Adel Adili, Pete Draper, RC Kamalakannan founded a visual effects and animation company named Makuta VFX in 2010. In the last six years, he has worked on 11 Tamil, Telugu, English and Hindi prestigious projects including "Magadheera", "Eega", "1: Nenokkadine", "Baahubali: The Beginning", "Apex" and "Puli".

However, the "Baahubali" team has already completed 40% of the filming of The Conclusion before the release of The Beginning. They have reportedly canned huge war scene and other major scenes. The shooting for the remaining sequences will commence in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad from December 2015. The film is scheduled for release in December 2016.
