HTC One Max Rumour Roundup: Expected Features, Price and Launch Details

As the news of HTC's 15 October event hit the headlines, features of the much-awaited HTC One Max were leaked among the fans.

Here is the compilation of latest reports on the expected features of the One Max by HTC, which are certain to come in the phablet.

Display and Design:

This handset will be a stretched version of the original HTC One model with same design frame. In a bid to up the ante against its rivals, the Taiwanese company will include a finger-print scanner on the back-side of the phablet (below the camera module). On the display front, HTC One Max is expected to flaunt a 5.9-inch full HD (1920x1080p) LCD screen.

Processor, RAM & Storage:

According to latest reports, HTC One Max is certain to pack 2GB RAM,16GB memory with microSD card slot(expandable up to 64GB) and feature 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 series quad-core processor (and not the advanced 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 series CPU as rumoured earlier).

Mobile Operating system:

As Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with latest v4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box, one can also expect the upcoming HTC phablet to ship with the new Android operating system.

Camera:

Like its high-end sibling (HTC One), this phablet is also rumoured to sport an innovative Ultrapixel camera with dedicated Image processor 2 chipset and wide-lens sensor, which can absorb more light to capture quality picture under low-light conditions. The phone will also feature 2.1-megapixel VGA camera.

Price:

According to a leaked document by network carrier, Senao International co. Ltd, the new phablet will hold a hefty price-tag of around 23,900 TWD-Taiwan Dollars (approximately ₹49,500), reported VR-Zone.

Launch date:

According to reports, HTC is scheduled to hold an event on 15 October in China for the global launch of HTC One Max, which is expected to hit the stores by 23 October. The company is also said to host a localised media briefing event on 16 and 18 October in Hong Kong and Taiwan respectively.
